A Mission Statement

So, the few people who may be reading this are probably family, friends, or my previous readers from All Things Good.  If you don't know anything about me and found me by other means, my name is Elizabeth.  I'm 16 years old and I live in a little town in Midwestern America farming country.  I'm a home schooled, Christian girl.  I love chocolate, reading, hanging out with my friends, acting, singing, playing piano, serving God at my church, trying new things, spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, running, reality TV, and listening to podcasts about said reality TV shows while running.:)
I decided to start blogging again because I want to get more writing time in.  I would like to think that I'm a good writer, but there's no way I can improve unless I practice.  It's hard to justify writing with no one to read, so that's why you find me here now.

Blogging was a cool experience before.  I made some blogger friends, got to review some pretty awesome products for free, and I got to write and explore an interest blog design.  Though, I'm expecting this go-around to be a bit different.  My objectives aren't the same anymore, and I think I've changed and matured a lot since those days.
All Things Good was supposed to be a fashion blog, but that was kind of hard to accomplish since I didn't use pictures of myself wearing the clothes.  So All Things Good became a hodge-podge blog with a bunch of random stuff.  That was alright though, because I enjoyed it.  However, this time, I want to stick with a more specific genre.  Already I'm thinking, "Good luck with that Elizabeth, you know you never stick to your original plans, especially when you get lazy."  And I'm right.  I probably will stray from my current visions for this blog, but as of right now, I would like to post Christian living posts and posts about my views on random things.  Things that will get my mind going and might provide an interesting read to anyone who cares.
This time around, it's not about how many followers I can get.  I will be perfectly content with just a few people reading my posts as long as I still enjoy writing them.
For privacy reasons, I won't be revealing too much about my personal life, location, or my last name.
I hope to keep to a fairly regular schedule, but life happens, and I know that if I want to continue with Mercies Anew, I have to be willing to miss a post or two.  So, what I'm saying through all of this is that, I'm going to try my best to provide quality content, but I also want this to be enjoyable.
I want to encourage others through my posts and use this as an outlet for my own walk with Christ.  This is going to be a place where I can grow as a Christian, and maybe through what I learn, others can learn too.
Finally, if you want to read, you can follow me through email (to receive an email with my newest post every time I write one), Bloglovin', or Blogger.
This blog, like everything else in life is for the glory of the Lord and I don't want to ever lose sight of that.
